We are a church rooted in Word and Sacrament, as well as the Christian theological and spiritual tradition. In worship and work, we are efforting together to become like Christ, communally and personally. Our mission is to embrace one another with love, as well as our neighbor, our enemy, and the stranger; to embody in hope the good news of the Kingdom of God; and to encounter by faith the Father of Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit.

The freedom, the choices, the hope, the loss

All wound the heart

Mended by God.

Who are you,

But a fish in a vast blue sea.

Unleashed to explore the depths of the deep,

But how we find ourselves in

Shallow

Ponds

Streams

Comforted by the tank of dreams.

Floundering still in murky waters,

Blinded we swim away from the light.

Are you free little fish,

In this manmade playa?

Are you free to exist,

Created creature you be?

Grappling

Knowing

So certain

Belief

In this safe system of waters

The world claimed to be.

Are you free little fish,

In this manmade playa?

Are you free to exist,

Created creature you be?

Failing

Falling

Death

Disbelief

Inhale your surroundings

High tide wanes the

Low tide of truth  

Be baptized in the freedom to choose.
